It has been some crazy months at Mercedes AMG F1, after winning the world title, Nico Rosberg retired suddenly and meant they needed a replacement, they turned to Valtteri Bottas from Williams Martini F1, causing them to force Felipe Massa out of retirement to return to the team. Now Lewis Hamilton's father is saying to Bottas going up against his son is dangerous and could be a "career ending move". Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull said he could defeat Hamilton if he was in the Mercedes. Nico Rosberg recently came out and said out of anyone in F1, he wanted former world champion Fernando Alonso in the car and not Bottas, Alonso is currently a driver for McLaren Honda with rookie Stoffel Vandoorne, after Jenson Button retired. If things couldn't get crazier, tech director Paddy Lowe is offically joining Williams as a shareholder to the team and a director. Lowe, 54, led Mercedes to 3 straight world titles and could help Williams, who has the fastest pit team in F1, possibly snag a few wins next year as Mercedes may drop a few with Rosberg out and new rules being brought in. It certaintly has been crazy at Mercedes AMG F1 lately and the season hasn't started, we don't even know how far it'll go.
